What is my home worth?

One of the most common questions everyone wants to know the answer to is, "What is my home worth?"  Certainly the answer to that question depends on a number of factors.  There are four ways of determining the answer:

First, you can determine what it is worth to you personally.  Value is subjective and often, personal opinion, sentiment and other factors create a value specific to the owner.

Second,  you can guess.  Look around, do some research and come up with a solid estimate.

Third, hire an appraiser.  For a nominal fee, a licensed appraiser will give you an in depth evaluation of your home based on detailed research and experience.
